Privacy policy
ChildcareWire is a product of Vientapps LLC. This page covers childcarewire.com. It describes everything the site loads and everything it stores.
What the site loads
- Only files served from childcarewire.com: the pages, one stylesheet, one small script that sends the waitlist form, the IBM Plex fonts (hosted on this site, not on Google Fonts or any other font service), and the sample CSV with a small JSON file describing it.
- No analytics, no advertising or tracking pixels, no session recording, no embedded third-party content and no third-party scripts.
- We set no cookies and use no browser storage.
Hosting
The site runs on Cloudflare Pages. To deliver and protect it, Cloudflare processes the technical details every web request carries, such as your IP address and browser type, under Cloudflare's privacy policy. If Cloudflare's security systems need to check a suspicious request, Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie. We do not use these details to identify or profile you.
The waitlist form
If you join the waitlist, we store exactly what you type into the form, and the time you sent it:
- your work email address
- your company name, if you enter one
- the states you list
- what you would use the feed for, if you say
We do not store your IP address or browser details with your entry. Entries are stored in Cloudflare Workers KV, in our own Cloudflare account. If you send the form again with the same email address, your new entry replaces the old one.
We use your entry only to email you when the feed opens for your states. We do not add you to a marketing list, and we do not sell, rent or share your entry with anyone.
How long we keep it, and deleting it
We keep a waitlist entry until we have told you your states are open, or until you ask us to delete it, and in any case no longer than 18 months. To see or delete your entry, email hello@childcarewire.com from the address you signed up with. We act on requests within 5 business days.
Global Privacy Control
The site does no tracking and sells no personal information, so there is nothing for a Global Privacy Control signal to switch off. We honor it all the same.
The data in the feed
The feed and the sample describe licensed childcare centers, which are businesses, from official state records. They carry no names of directors, owners, licensees or staff, no email addresses or phone numbers, and no family or home-based child care. To report an error in a record, email hello@childcarewire.com; corrections are made at the source on CheckedCare so both sites match.
Changes
If what the site loads or stores changes, we update this page first and change the date above.
